We are looking for a permanent Specification Manager to join a leading aluminium Windows & Doors manufacturer, focusing on sales within the Wales & West England regions. This role involves developing project specificiations, building relationships with architects, contractors, and developers, and securing specifications for aluminium systems. Your day-to-day will entail responding to enquiries, providing technical support, securing project orders, and maintaining records on Salesforce. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience in the façade or related industry, proven technical sales expertise in aluminium systems, and a strong network of industry contacts. Excellent communication, organisation, and an understanding of procurement in construction are also essential. Knowledge of AutoCAD, NBS Chorus, and Glenigan/Barbour ABI data will be advantageous.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in façade or relevant industry
- Proven technical specification sales experience, preferably in aluminium or building envelope sector
- Strong network with architects, contractors, and developers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of building codes, standards, and procurement processes
- Experience with AutoCAD, Salesforce, NBS Chorus, and relevant data sources
